Upcoming Events
All year (2008): “Listen and remember”, project by MTO/Splot (Nowy Sacz) whereby 75 high school students (aged 12-16) will try to create an imago of the Jewish life and culture (living witnesses and material traces) prior to the Holocaust in three southern Polish towns – Krakow, Nowy Sacz, and Oswiecim – and compare that past situation with the present. This is a follow-up of MTO/Splot’s “I bet I can show you” (Ja Wam Pokaze) project, this time involving film and exhibitions as well. See Regions / Poland / MTO / Projects for details.
1 February - 30 November, 2008: Academy of Young Social Entrepreneurs (AYSE) training for 20 Azeri students (introductory training by MTO trainers in Azerbeijan, followed by "homework", monitoring by trainers in October, and finally a 10-day internship in Poland for the best 6 AYSE students.
