The Truth in Translation theatrical production (http://www.truthintranslation.org) was scheduled to stage a repeat performance in Sarajevo on October 20th to end its series.

Performances were staged earlier ın Mostar, Belgrade, Novi Sad, Bujanovac, Pristina, Mitrovica, Zagreb, and Sarajevo.

The Truth in Translation theatrical production tells the story of South Africa’s Truth and Reconciliation Commission (TRC) through the eyes of its young interpreters who translated for both victim and perpetrator after apartheid’s collapse.

It was a time when the world expected a bloodbath and instead got a small evolutionary leap that arguably rocked people’s perception of human nature itself.

Although the headlines have faded, the performers believe this moment in time contains a story that must be told and retold for the simple reason that if it happened once, it can happen again.
